Bio and Select Exhibitions: Ava Kutner (b. 2002. Boston, Massachusetts) works in a variety of mediums with a focus on painting. She holds a BFA in studio art from NYU. She uses maximalism in paintings and sculptures to mimic the discombobulation and fog resulting from certain women’s health issues, often drawing inspiration from the embodiment of mold.
